dream interpretation: bad hair cut / job decision?

I had a dream last night that I was looking in the mirror and my hair was long and blonde again (it's mid-length and black now) ... it looked a little unkempt so I was brushing it but suddenly the brush was a buzzer and I accidentally buzzed a big chunk out of the top. I was freaked out and went to my husband and asked him to help me get a hat to cover it up.
In reality, I have been looking for a new job for months and just recently got a bunch of leads all at once (go figure). One of them actually gave me a job offer yesterday but the $$ is a little lower than I'd prefer and I'm wondering if I should hold out for the job that I'd prefer to get (pretty good chance but not for sure yet) - and risk losing out on this "sure thing" offer ....
I've read grooming long hair means I'm taking to long to think this over. But the accidentally cutting your own hair thing confuses me - is it trying to tell me that I should go for the "sure thing" job with less $$?

I believe the dream is because you are not happy with the $$ offered and dreaming of long tangled hair can indicate feelings of being overwrought with ideas, emotions, or indicate that
