1) For mechanical purpose is hylam sheets to be used instead of aluminium sheets?
2) can i get Φ1250mm * 50mm thickness hylam sheets for making the fly wheel to be used instead of aluminium fly wheel?
3) is hylam sheets flywheel withstand sudden load compare to aluminium flywheel?
4) what maximun speed can i operate aluminium flywheel Φ1250 *50 thickness during granite cutting?
Getting hylam of that diameter could be a problem. One can take sheet of 50 mm thick and turn it to make a flywheel.
But I do not see the advantage going for hylam flywheel.
Hylam with out filler is brittle and chips off easily
The rein forced ones absorb moisture / grease and gain weight with time.
